Review of Maggie Goes to Hollywood (Maggie MacKay Magical Tracker Book 6) by Kate Danley

Maggie is a wanted women and by divine intervention, she gets to hide out and work on a movie set. She’s exposed to real movie magic and a new vampire breed that’s keen on taking over the studios and drain human souls.

I was very surprised and glad I stumbled upon this instalment, I thought this series stopped at Book 5. I really enjoyed the sassy, witty heroine and her sidekick and cannot get enough of their adventures. As always Maggie falls knee deep into trouble and with a little support from unexpected people, she managed to save the day in her unconventional ways. The bigger plot was not solved yet (jippee, there’s more!), but the ultimate disaster featured in this story was prevented and gave some clues to the bigger conspiracy.

This is a fun, lighthearted series with lots of puns, witty comebacks and quirky characters. I cannot wait for Maggie Reloaded (Maggie MacKay: Magical Tracker, Book 7) – Kate Danley has a very sharp and creative mind.

WARNING: This book contains swearing.
